This course focuses on the twelve doctrines that shaped the Reformation.
These doctrines are: 1. Sola Scriptura, 2. Solus Christus, 3. Sola Gratia, 4. Sola Fide, 5. Soli Deo Gloria, 6. Providence, 7. Predestination, 8. Radical Depravity, 9. Unconditional Election, 10. Efficacious Grace, 11. Persevering Grace, and 12. Particular Redemption. We want to help students understand the core biblical arguments for Reformed theology, and so for each of these twelve doctrines we will define the doctrine, demonstrate the doctrine from Scripture, and defend the doctrine against popular arguments of criticism.
