BIBLE COLLEGE
During this course you will be introduced to the Reformation and Post-Reformation eras and meet some of the greatest men who have ever lived. The lives and teachings and the men who birthed and carried on the reformation changed the world forever. As they recaptured the fundamental gospel truths of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, Europe and England were transformed, then America, and eventually all the world.
After doing this course you will understand the religious and cultural world of the 16th Century into which the Reformation exploded, and you will know what were the key doctrines and motivating factors which inspired the Reformers. You will understand how the Reformation unfolded in Europe and Britain, and how the Roman Catholic Church reacted, both in violent repression and in doctrinal counter-reformation. And along the way you will have met Martin Luther, Ulrich Zwingli, John Calvin, John Knox, the Anabaptists, the Puritans, the Pietists and the Methodists.
For those who are called to preach and lead within Christ’s church today, a thorough understanding of the Reformation is indispensible. We trust that you will be inspired and educated by this incredible story!
