On Sunday the 10th of December the River of Life church from Khayelitsha will be visiting Church-on-Main and joining the Treasure House for a year-end Christmas party. On this day we will be giving the kids from River of Life church Christmas gifts which will include a book, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and small packet of sweets. Each gift will be to the value of R105.
We are asking for donations from the community for this – please click below to donate to our neighbours in Khayelitsha. Due date for donations is Thursday 30 November.
We have identified a need in our Treasure House for stationery items for school next year.
We are appealing to our community to donate towards this initiative. We will be putting together basic stationery packs for the children in need. The cost per pack is R220 and will include pens, pencils, whiteboard markers, khoki pens, scissors. an eraser, sharpener, exam pad, glue stick, ruler and document holder.
Please click below to donate funds towards this. We are taking donations for full and half packs.
Following an incredible donation for Church-on-Main to replace our battery packs, we are launching a fund-raising initiative for solar panels. It is our desire to not only go off the grid, but to feed power back into the grid for the good of our city.
We are appealing to life groups, prayer groups and individuals to “adopt a panel”. Solar panels cost approximately R5000 each and our building needs 100 panels as part of our phase 1 initiative.
